Flexible Service System

Mercedes-Benz utilizes the Flexible Service System (FSS), which alternates between Minor (“A”) and Major (“B”) service intervals. Our technicians are trained to perform these services using the official standards and genuine parts, keeping your FSS counter accurate.

“A” Service

(Minor Maintenance)

This service, typically due after the first year or 10,000 miles (for models 1998 & Newer), focuses on core fluid changes and safety checks:

Replace Engine Oil & Filter (using required synthetic oil).
Inspect Windshield Wiper Inserts & Service Windshield Washer System (Wiper Replacements additional).
Lubricate Hood Hinges.
Inspect Brakes and Check Tire Pressure (Including Spare).
Inspect Tires & Brake Pads for Wear.
Reset Flexible Service System Counter.

“B” Service

(Major Maintenance)

This more extensive service, typically performed two years after purchase or 20,000 miles (for models 1998 & Newer), includes all “A” service items plus deeper system analysis:

All items included in “A” Service, PLUS:
Analyze Engine Management System with Mercedes-Benz Star Diagnostic System Tester.
Inspect Cooling System.
Check & Clean Air Filter.
Check & Top Off All Fluid Levels.
Inspect Heating & Ventilation Dust Filter (Cabin Filter).
Inspect & Lubricate Throttle Linkage.
Check Horns, Lights, Seat Belts, and Tires & Brake Pads for Wear.
Inspect Front Axle Ball Joints & Rear Differential Levels.
Check Steering Play & Power Steering Clutch.
Inspect Poly V-Belt for Condition.
Road Test the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
